Hello,
My name is Monet and I have been simming, all sims 2, and then 4 and two, for about 10 years now. I learned a lot on MTS, and BPS (remember Black Pearl sims? I got so much inspiration there!) then I came across Jessa on youtube (The Jessa Channel) about 5 years ago and the way she played made simming so much more interesting to me and led to extreme cc accumulations. I do play some other games (mostly simulation), but I am not a gamer in any sense of the word. My son is a game developer though, so I follow gamer things online in order to not be totally lost in the woods.
I have a lot of activities I engage in, in addition to working and parenting. My husband is retired, but I am not, so with my limited time what happens is that something triggers my simming enthusiasm and it’s all I think about or do in my available time, until I become saturated with simming and then another enthusiasm is triggered and I move on to that for a while. But I always come back to simming because of the story-telling aspect and there are so many interesting peripheral things to learn about.
My family is willing to indulge my obsessions, but they don’t really share any of them. They still enjoy hearing what my sims are up to.
I enjoy reading, and making stuff, and history, and music and getting outside, not that unusual!
Cheers!
