These six teens are attending the first Gifted Education school to be established in their area. Unfortunately, their education comes at a price and Oak Ridge Gifted Center's funds are drying up. In addition, the students have academic, social, and personal struggles of their own. Follow the students on their journey through the hectic 1997-1998 school year, complete with parties, college applications, a possible conspiracy, relationships, abuse, oh - and plenty of homework.
